Foxgloves growing in a cottage garden border

Questions we are asked

If your question is not here, send it through the contact form and we will answer it directly.

Which areas do you cover?

We work across our local service area. Send us your postcode and we will confirm whether we cover it before booking a visit.

How long does a design take?

A design typically takes 5 to 10 working days from the site survey, depending on the size of the plot and how many revisions you ask for.

How long will the installation take?

It depends on access and ground conditions. A straightforward lawn or planting job is usually a few days; a garden with hard landscaping and drainage takes longer. We give you the sequence and the expected duration before work starts.

How do you price the work?

Per project, in writing. You get a breakdown of the stages and the figure, and nothing is ordered until the layout is signed off. Design consultations are the one item with a fixed fee.

What happens if it rains?

Weather affects ground works, turf and planting. If conditions mean the work cannot be done to standard, we reschedule and tell you the new date. Delays caused by weather do not change the quoted price.

How is ongoing maintenance charged?

Per visit or per season, depending on the plan. You choose the frequency and we confirm it in writing before the first visit.

Is there a guarantee period?

We will return to put right anything that fails as a direct result of our workmanship within the agreed period after installation. Plant establishment depends on conditions and care after handover, so we do not guarantee that every plant will thrive.

Can I have a design without installation?

Yes. You can take the design on its own and arrange the installation yourself.

Do you take on the upkeep of an existing garden you did not install?

Yes, subject to a visit so we can assess what is there and what the upkeep will involve.

When should I book?

The growing season fills first. If you want work completed before a particular point in the year, get in touch early and we will tell you honestly whether the timing is realistic.

Still not sure?

Tell us about the garden and what you would like to change. We will come back with the next step, or an honest answer if the work is not a fit.
